MISSION UPDATE |

Casa De Miseracordia We now have a child that our church can correspond with at the Casa De Miseracordia orphanage in Piedras Negras, Mexico. Her name is Christina Gonzales. She is a 9 year old that arrived at the orphanage on March 9, 2007. Christina is very sweet and loving especially toward the other children at the orphanage. She is “all girl”, loves pink, purses, and jewelry. If you would like to write to her, please use simple English phrases or depending on your Spanish skills, try some basic translation. The orphanage has established a PO Box in Eagle Pass, TX just across the border to receive these letters or packages and will deliver them to the children. This is easier and quicker than trying to send things directly onto Mexico.

CALENDARS FOR A FIESTA! Please note that the church wide dinner in July has been changed to the second Sunday in July. It will be held on July 13 following second service. We are planning a Mexican Potluck. We will take a special love offering to send to Casa de Miseracordia, the orphanage in Mexico that our church supports, to help with the children there. There will be information available about a mission trip down to the orphanage. Please join us for fun, fellowship, and great Mexican food!
