About Michelle shiparski

I graduated from Bowling Green State University in 1990 with a degree in Secondary Education.  After graduating, I taught middle school and high school English for six years in both the Findlay and Delaware school systems.  In 1996, I left full-time teaching to begin raising my children.

Over the past ten years I have had the opportunity to participate in a variety of volunteer positions.  I was the leader of the local chapter of Mothers & More, and during my membership I also served as the book club coordinator, play group coordinator, seasoned moms coordinator, and public relations coordinator.  Through the years, I have volunteered at my children’s schools and have also served as PTO  Co-President and fundraising chairperson.

At St. Marks I have had the privilege to be a part of the children’s department for seven years where I have taught Sunday school, coordinated Vacation Bible School, worked in the nursery.  Additionally, I have served as chairperson for the Children’s Education Commission for six years.

My husband, Steve, and I have three children:  Blake, 11, Madison, 9, and Zoe, 6.
